Amazon kindle ebook rental questions?
Question by papistinkbomb: Amazon kindle ebook rental questions?
I am looking in to buying an ebook version of my textbook via amazon. If I choose to “rent” the “kindle edition” and i dont own a kindle, would i be able to download the ebook as a file? I dont want to have to sync to a server/cloud/whatever to use the ebook.
If it is possible to downlaod as a file, would a simple .pfd reader be sufficient to read the file. I would like this to be as simple as possible.
It would be great to download this wile so that i do not need any type of internet connection to use the book.

1) Legally, any licensed software you own can be hosted on the clould.
2) Ethically, one issue I have heard about involves using labor from low-cost countries to do repetitive accounting tasks via having it done by your own staff where you are located.
3) Environmentally speaking, if you end up storing your documents as data images online instead of copying them, you are using less paper. The part I can’t measure is if you are consuming more electricity as a result.

Question by : questions about………William Wordsworth “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud”?
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
1. What do poets do when they personify subjects? Identify the subject that is personified in this poem, and describe how it is personified. Then explain how personification helps the poet to convey his ideas about the natural world.

Answer by W P
Poets give inanimate objects qualities and characteristics of people when they use personification.
The cloud is personified.
The cloud is described as feeling loneliness….but only people can feel loneliness. Thus the cloud is personified.
Personification, in this poem, helps connect us to the natural world.

“To a butterfly”
I’ve watched you now a full half hour
Self-poised upon that yellow flower;
And, little Butterfly! indeed
I know not if you sleep or feed.
How motionless!–not frozen seas
More motionless!–and then
What joy awaits you, when the breeze
Hath found you out among the trees,
And calls you forth again!
This plot of orchard-ground is ours;
My trees they are, my Sister’s flowers:
Here rest your wings when they are weary,
Here lodge as in a sanctuary!
Come often to us, fear no wrong;
Sit near us on the bough!
We’ll talk of sunshine and of song,
And summer days, when we were young;
Sweet childish days, that were as long
As twenty days are now.
Wordsworth’s “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud” and “To a Butterfly” deals with memories. explain for each poem what the speaker suggests about how the natural world affects people’s memories. How does this function of the natural world fit with the Romantic view of nature?
