Question by Tony: How much does cloud computing/software was a service typically cost?
I’d like to know how much a software package enabled by a web browser costs per year. Any estimates would be appreciated!

There is no “typical” cost. If it’s a low-end consumer software package (eg, an online address book) then it might be <$ 20/month... it might even be free and financed by advertising! If it's an enterprise business solution, it could be many thousands per month. Software as a service fees are, of course, going to be less than buying a license to the software outright. But then you have a subscription fee (you pay monthly, or annually, etc) rather than a single lump payment for the software. Joanna
