Question by bynge: How to know the dynamic IP for remote access from Wyse Pocket Cloud?
I have android phone with Wyse Pocket Cloud. I want o access my desktop at home thru Pocket cloud’s VNC servers.
My problem is that the IP of the desktop computer keeps changing hence making it impossible to know the IP for making the connection.
Is there any way to know the IP of my desktop at a given time, while I am away from home ?
Can use any DNS_something fro this dynamic IP problem?
Please explain…

DynDNS will do it as suggested, but be sure to download and install their sync’ing client tool. If your public Ip changes that much, you will want software on your computer at home checking every hour or so, to keep things at DynDNS up to date….
